Joel Lucks and Keith Ibsen met one day at a photography workshop. Out of that first meeting grew a friendship that filled in a lot of gaps for both of them. From there, Complete Concepts was conceived.
Joel has been a published Editorial Photographer since 1992. His work has appeared in Outdoor Life, ESPN Outdoors Saltwater, Cabela's Outfitter Journal, and on the Bass Pro Shops On-line Library, to mention his most recent clients.
Keith is a published photographer, as well, and illustrator, for 30 years. He is also a retired Scuba Diving Instructor with over 20 years of retail and marketing experience and his work continues to appear in Dive Training magazine, the NOAA manuals, and many other publications.
Together, they have forged an association that makes them a "complete" professional photography studio source. From fashion, beauty, and portrait work, to catalog shoots, to on-location shoots around the country, their capabilities, experiences, and resources are far-reaching.
And the icing on the cake is they actually have become friends and like each other!
Complete Concepts Photography has started the FJ Westcott Lighting Group to conduct
Photography and Lighting Workshops for all levels of photographers. Membership is Free click here to join.

Custom designed comp cards available
I just finished designing a new comp card for professional model Laurence Yang.drop us a line if you need promotional or business cards designed.
Keith, Co-Founder of Complete Concepts Photography, goes back to his Art Director roots when it comes to planning shoots and designing sets. As an illustrator, Keith puts to paper all of our thoughts and thereby eliminates false-starts and problems later on when we shoot "live." Try laying your ideas out on paper first before shooting. And, while you're shooting, take notes so you don't have to go back to that "guessing game" later on.

The fall colors are absolutely inspiring! Many of Joel's ideas come from all the time he spends outdoors.

What makes a good shoot is having fun. Keith has the ability to bring out humor in everything we do. In so doing, our shoots are not only professional, but relaxed and fun.
